Get your movement back.
Physiotherapy inside your own GP clinic. Four medical centres across Southeast Melbourne, from Keysborough to Cranbourne West.
Nobody comes here for physio.
They come to get something back. The garden, the grandkids, the walk to the shops, the ride on a Sunday. That's the actual goal, and it's the one we plan around.
Your physiotherapist.

Taping
Kinesiology and rigid strapping to offload a painful joint.

Joint mobilisation
Shoulder, knee, ankle and spine — restoring the glide that's been lost.

Band & strength work
TheraBand progressions you take home and actually keep doing.
Everything you need fits in a drawer.
Back to the walk to the shops. That's the goal.
Already at your doctor's.
We consult inside the medical centres patients already attend. Your GP, your care plan and your rehabilitation stay in one place, and notes go straight back to your doctor.
No referral is needed for a private visit. If you have a chronic condition, ask your GP about a care plan.

Medicare care plans
A GP care plan for a chronic condition covers Medicare-rebated visits each year. Ask the clinic about fees and rebates when you book.
NDIS, self & plan-managed
Goal-based therapy and progress reports. Support coordinators and plan managers are welcome to make contact directly.
WorkCover & TAC
Work injury and transport accident claims accepted. Private health fund rebates are available at participating clinics.
Aged care, Support at Home
Physiotherapy for older Australians can be funded through aged care programs. Providers seeking a visiting physio can get in touch.
Questions people ask first.
Do you bulk bill?
Bulk billing means a provider accepts the Medicare rebate as the full payment, so you pay nothing on the day. It works differently for physiotherapy than at your GP: Medicare does not cover standard physiotherapy the way it covers a doctor's visit.
Where Medicare does contribute is through a GP chronic disease management care plan, which covers a set number of allied health visits each calendar year. Some clinics accept that rebate as full payment for care plan patients; others charge a gap. Pensioners and Health Care Card holders often pay a reduced rate. DVA cardholders are generally covered in full on referral.
Fees are set and charged by each medical centre, not by us, so the clinic is the right place to ask. Ring them and they'll tell you exactly what you'll pay and what you'll get back. The longer explanation of how the funding works is here.
Do I need a referral?
No. Physiotherapy is a primary contact profession in Australia, so you can book directly without seeing a doctor first.
A referral only matters when someone else is paying part of the bill — a Medicare care plan, DVA, or an accepted WorkCover or TAC claim. More on referrals here.
Can I claim on private health?
Yes, if your policy includes physiotherapy in its extras cover. At clinics with HICAPS you claim on the spot and pay only the difference. Bring your fund card.
What should I bring and wear?
Your Medicare card, any referral or care plan, your private health card if you're claiming, and any scan or X-ray reports.
Wear something you can move in. Shorts for a knee, a loose top or singlet for a shoulder. If you'd rather bring a family member to help with English, that's completely fine and very common here.
Can someone come to me?
Yes. Home visits are available across Southeast Melbourne for people who find travel difficult.
Telehealth appointments can also be arranged by video when an in-person visit isn't practical — useful for reviewing your exercises, progressing a program, or a follow-up you'd otherwise travel for. Mention it when you send your request and we'll set up the link.
I'm an NDIS participant — can I book?
Yes, if you're self-managed or plan-managed. Goal-based therapy and progress reports are provided. Support coordinators and plan managers are welcome to make contact directly.
Why are there no patient reviews on this site?
Australian law prohibits testimonials about the clinical side of care in advertising for regulated health services, under section 133 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law. Anything about a symptom, a diagnosis, a treatment or a result can't be used. Every registered physiotherapist, doctor and dentist works under the same rule.
So the absence of reviews here isn't a signal about quality, it's a legal requirement. What we show instead is registration, qualifications and exactly how treatment works, which you can check independently.
